Everybody making ICON experiments or contributing to the model development needs a personal ID defined by a three letter acronym. Often these are initial letters from the first and/or last name. The ID must also be unique. The existing IDs of MPI-M users are listed in List of IDs.

Please add your own unique acronym to this list. In case you don't have access to the list please contact sebastian.rast@mpimet.mpg.de or monika.esch@mpimet.mpg.de

Experiments should then be named with your 3 character ID followed by a 4 digit number, e.g. abc0001. Further experiments should then be named abc0002, abc0003,…, abc9999.
