Available simulations

This namespace documents where output from selected ruby and sapphire experiments, which are of more general interest, are stored. Ruby simulations are low-resolution (grid spacing O(100 km)) simulations, whereas sapphire simulations use a grid spacing finer than O(10 km). Physically, in contrast to ruby simulations, sapphire simulations resolve storms, including convective storms, in the atmosphere, and (sub)mesoscale eddies in the ocean.
