Ground weather sensor

Since December 2010 a multi-sensor weather instrument is permanent installed at the office container at the BCO.

It provides 6 of the most important weather parameters: air pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction on approx. 4 m AGL. The data is recorded every 10 seconds (10s mean values from 1s values).

Where to find the data

The daily netCDF-Files are stored under: /pool/OBS/BARBADOS_CLOUD_OBSERVATORY/Level_1/I_Meteorology_2m/YYYYMM/
